Ashley McMahan joins the team as our first Chief Financial Officer
- Tell us about your professional background and career journey leading up to this point.
“I started working in public accounting in 2009, and then left to pursue a career in the private sector. I joined Fender-Goggans Orthodontics in 2013 and helped start Smile Doctors the largest Orthodontic Support Organization in the world. During my time with Smile Doctors I served in many roles including, Director of Operations, Interim CFO, Director of Training and Integrations, Vice President of Operations, and Vice President of Affiliations.
- 2. What are some of your professional passions and your goals as our first-ever CFO?
“My goal is to help support the team at Atlas to continue to serve our customers on the highest level. By implementing and helping to streamline processes, it will allow our team to serve more customers. Being from Alapaha and my dad retiring from Atlas, this company holds a special place in my heart. I’m happy to be back home after leaving in Austin, TX for the last couple of years to help serve in my community.”
- 3. What does life outside of the office look like for you?
“I am newly married to my husband, Hank McMahan. We have two boys, Cleve (15), and Cash (11), and two rescue puppies, Buddy and Bear. We love hunting together as a family whether it’s deer, dove or duck. We are proud athletic boosters of both the Berrien County Rebels and the Irwin County Indians. You can always find us at a game! I played basketball for Berrien High and still hold a record for most 3 pointers in a career.”
